Like the upcoming Rugby Union’s greatest international championships every week from 4 February to 18 March on the website, mobile device, tablet, Apple TV or Samsung Smart TV. The six-week long competition will see current champions England defending their crown against five other European nations – France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales – in the curtain raiser to another amazing year of international rugby.

While the 6 Nations competition in its current format is entering its 18th year, the competition, which began as the Home Nations and later became the Five Nations, were first contested in 1883.


Defending champions England will enter the tournament as favourites after a 14-match unbeaten run during 2016. Adding fire to the already heated rivalries, the British and Irish players will be battling to win a place in the British and Irish Lions squad that will tour New Zealand in June and July this year.
